Orders and Keylines

It is our preference to receive orders via email rather than fax, as faxes often distort during transmission

Production Planning

We collate all production orders received by 2pm daily to prepare the production schedule for the following days work. We will genuinely strive to offer the best service that we can at all times, but you need to be aware that if your order and keyline is received after 2pm it could result in a delay.

Keyline Changes

If we observe an issue with the file, i.e: we believe a lock on the file will not work, we will contact you with the details of the issue and you can decide whether you wish to change your keyline. If you ask us to design the proposed changes we will send them to you for authorisation. We will also call you to notify you that we are seeking authorisation for the changes. The job will be put on hold for an hour awaiting your approval. If we have not received authorisation within an hour we will proceed with the proposed changes, so that production is not threatened, but we will not be held responsible for any dispute over the changes.

Quoting

It is our preference to receive quotes by email or fax, so there is no misunderstanding about the nature of the job. We are able to provide indicative quotes verbally, but cannot be held to the quoted amount if the job received is found to be significantly different to how it was understood.

Please be assured that our primary objective is to ensure the best possible service to you. We would welcome your support in achieving out goals

Keyline Specifications (What we need from you)

Please send your orders and specifications to designs@accurategroup.com.au. This address is set up with an automated response message notifying that your email has been received when it is downloaded by our design team.

We strive to process emails regularly throughout the day. If you have not received an automated response from this address within a few hours of sending it you may wish to confirm with us that it has been received.

Please forward emails showing the die line and centre ticks only (viewed as the print side, or outside).

Please DELETE (not hide) all artwork colour bars or other construction lines.

We can read the following formats (using Illustrator V10).

Please provide key lines actual size. If a key line has been scaled please indicate the scale on the key line.

Please note that we do not check if any dimensions drawn on a key line are different to the keyline received unless we have been advised or the scale indicated is different to 1:1.

Please indicate the feed direction or the grip edge.

Please ensure we receive vectored lines (NOT pixels).

If these rules are not colour coded please put a description next to each line.

Please do NOT use dashed lines

Please specify the perf rule to be used .ie. 12TPI (teeth per inch)
